Paragraph Definition and Structure:    

Paragraphs allow us to organize our writing into manageable blocks. Good paragraphs are unified, complete, and coherent. The basic structure of a paragraph consits of a topic sentence (controlling idea), three support sentences, and a concluding sentence. The support sentences consists of examples, facts, reasons, or descriptions. The concluding sentence is a restatement of the topic sentence.

Basic paragraph structure:

Topic Sentence: As a travel agent I have one of the best jobs in the world.
